About the Event
Family owned Giesen Wines is one of the iconic producers of Marlborough, New Zealand's largest and most famous wine region. We will be joined on the big screen by Roscoe Johanson, direct from New Zealand, to tell us about the Giesen story, and the speacial wines we will be tasting.
Course 1 - 2019 ARA Selection Sauvignon Blanc w/ Chilled avocado soup, tomato, sourcream, toburi
Course 2 - 2019 ARA Resolute Sauvignon Blanc w/ Squid & shiso luibe, mustard daikon & Seared Hokkaido scallop on shiokara sauce
Course 3 - 2016 Clayvin Chardonnay w/ Fillet of salmon, ikura, aonori with spring greens, beans & peas, herb veloute
Course 4 - 2019 Giesen Organic Pinot Noir AND 2014 Clayvin Pinot Noir w/ Roast NZ Lamb, lotus root, potato, root vegetables, black garlic lamb jus
The wines are locked in, but the food is subject to change if there is a supply issue or chef comes up with something he thinks will be even cooler.
